  • 1.  RTG protocol, I need a configuration tip !

    Hello,

     

    scuse me for my poor english...

     

    I have two different location connected with a optical bridge and a radio brige.

     

    I want use two EX 3200 to obtain a fault tollerant configuration.

     

    I have tried the RTG protocol ...

     

    Someone can help me (or suggest a different way)

    The issue you are seeing is that the primary link never drops on both devices when you are connected through a switch.  I do not believe that the redundant trunk group type of configuration works with switches in the middle.  You might want to use something more like spanning-tree or LACP to support what you are trying to do.
