Hello, ECC is Error Checking and Correcting and is used in memory applications. A single bit parity error is a correctable memory error. A single error over a long period is no cause for alarm, but several errors over  a short period should raise suspicion. Try to reseat the routing-engine, and check if the alarm appears after sometime if so then it seems to be a hardware issue with RE1 Thanks, Puneet

Reseat/Reboot should fix it, if not please reach out JTAC.

Tks,

Please accept as solution if this fixed your problem.

"Host 1 ECC single bit parity error" is usually hardware error related to memory bits. Analysis of logs around the time the issue was first triggered would give a better picture of what could have raised this issue and if the issue has reoccurred again anytime.

As an action to clear the alarm, you can reseat/reboot Host 1. Make sure that you consider RE redundancy during the activity to prevent any downtime.
