  • 1.  The common Cisco to Juniper STP Question

    Hi All,

     

             What is everyones opinion or Best Practice on connecting an EX switch and a Cisco switch together through STP.  By Default most cisco Switches will have Rapid-PVST turned on and by default the EX will have RSTP.  These are very different. 

     

              Which switch should be changed and how should it be changed?

    Hi,

     

    VSTP is compatible with Cisco's Rapid-PVST.  This document should shed some light and help with an example.
