VC non-provisioned to pre-provisioned while running

    Hi all,

     

    we have a VC with 6 Members, currently non-provisioned.

    Customer has 3 more VC's, all pre-provisioned and asked if we could change the non-provisioned to pre-provisioned to have "one config" - but without taking the VC out of Service.

    Is this safe? Can i just set the chassis to pre-provisioned with the current member-ID's without risking the VC to renumber or do other "silly" Stuff?

    Hi all,

     

    since nobody replied i did "harakiri" - it worked.

    However a reboot is required to switch from non-provisioned to provisioned.

    Before the reboot the Device with the SerialNumber will be shown twice - one with the "old status", the other as "inactive". After a reboot they use the role assigned to them (RE or Linecard).
