I'm trying to confirm the best practice configuration for QFX5100 Virtual Chassis Fabric.
I understand the following commands are required:
set system commit synchronizeset chassis redundancy graceful-switchoverset routing-options nonstop-routingset protocols layer2-control nonstop-bridging
But what about these? Do they add any value?
set chassis redundancy failover on-loss-of-keepalivesset chassis redundancy failover on-disk-failure
Are you looking for an explanation on what these two commands do?
If yes, you can check the link below:
The first one in combination with GRES, can trigger a failover in 2 seconds in case the RE doesn't send keepalives.
I'm not sure about the second one in terms of failover timing improvement.
=====If this worked for you please flag my post as an "Accepted Solution" so others can benefit. A kudo would be cool if you think I earned it.
Since QFX5100 has no internal disk-drive not applicable.
