global-le-aging-time

‎03-24-2017 07:54 AM

Hi,

  • Does anybody know what LE stands for in the  global-le-aging-time command?

When you look at the documentation is only says: "Option introduced in Junos OS Release 14.2R5 for the MX Series. Specify the aging time of LE. "

  • Also what is the difference between global-le-aging-time and global-mac-table-aging-time ?

Thanks!

Hello,

"global-le-aging-time" knob is applicable to PBB (Provider Backbone Bridging, https://www.juniper.net/documentation/en_US/junos12.3/topics/concept/pbb-understanding.html ).

If You are not using PBB, don't use this knob.

HTH

Thx
Alex
