how to confgire VRRP

i have to  Install Ex 3200 in my network with vrrp,i am to switching does not know much about it,but want to give it try

 

my tpresent network router <-->firewall <--->local Lan

 

now after ex3200 my network will be router<--->firewall<--->swiitch<--EX3200 IN REDUDENCY<--->LOCAL LAN >


please let me know how to proceed on this do let me know if i need to change any thing on my servers,do i need to team my network cards

Hi Rohit,

Here is what you need to do;
1) Configure VRRP on the redundant EX switches.
2) Configure your LAN segment to use the VRRP Virtual-IP as their default-gateway.

but i have one more query

 

Modem<-->Router<--->Wan Switch<--->Juniper SRX 210<--->Cisco Switch <-->EX3200(IN VRRP)<-->Local Lan

 

right now my SRX LOCAL Interface is the default gateway for my lan users, but now as u said VIRTUAL IP is the Default gatway for my lan users so i want to know

 

how will i route my traffic from virtual ip TO Srx

VRRP (VIP) is used to provide redundancy to the gateway IP of the hosts.
Keeping that in mind, you could probably change the gateway address on the hosts to the VIP and have a default route on the VRRP-running peers (cisco and EX3200) which points to the SRX.

Obviously, the most optimal solution will depend on your network design and requirement.
