interface 504 throttled

Hi all,

 

The following log mess occur lots on EX9200. What does that mean really? where to start troubleshooting?

I seached out a little bit.. There is some talk about the log message  but I couldn't understand. Here:

Does any one encounter the log message that I previously posted? Any what troubleshooting should be undertaken?

 Those are requests for non-existence IPs.

 

Run the following command.  This is to check routes that are not resolved for the switch.

 

 

show route forwarding-table | match hold

 

If you see routes on hold is because the switch is flooding the arp request, and nothing is responding.  Maybe is a machine (some times a printer) that was turned off, but other hosts still trying to connect to it.
