  • 1.  junos software needed for replacement switch

    hello i need to replace one of my ex switches.   i have a spare ex on site but the junos version is dated. i don't see the junos version i am running available for download. is there a way to download from one of my production switches?

    One thing you can try - we hide the versions long before we remove them completely. So look at a currently available download URL (e.g. https://download.juniper.net/software/junos...) and you should be able to figure out the URL for the one you want. If it turns out we have purged it, there may be a later maintenance release of the version you want (which is going to be more solid anyway) so you can try that as well.
