  • 1.  qfx3500 Switch Configure xe-Interface to work as ge

    Hello,

     

    I have a Switch were I have inserted Modules for 1G-Speed. In Operational-Mode they appear as ge-Interfaces, but in Configuration-Mode they are listed as xe-Interfaces.

     

    How could I change them to work as 1G-Interfaces?

    Its possible:

     

    Step 1:

     

    go to config mode

     

    type "top edit interfaces"

     

    Step 2:

     

    system will display something like this 

     

    [top edit interface]

     

    Now type "replace pattern xe with ge"

     

    Ste 3:

    Commit
