Manage users with space

‎09-30-2015 08:28 AM

If I was to use Junos space to manage users. How do I use it to remove changes?

For example. I use a configlet to add a user:

system {
    login {
        user Test-User {
            uid 1111;
            class super-user;
            authentication {

                     BLAH BLAH BLAH BLAH

}}}

Is there a way to remove a configuration?

To delete something, use "delete:"

Something like this -

system {
    login {
        delete: user Test-User

}}}

Is that what you're asking for?

That is exactly what I was looking for!

I did have to add a semi colon.

system {
login {
    delete: user Test-User;
}}

Thanks!!!

Excellent. Note also, one of the useful things about configlets is that you can do those sorts of things *conditionally* with #if clauses.

If you search the "Automation Scripting" J-Net forum for 'configlet', you'll find a lot of helpful information and examples.
