[ Edited ]

Hi All,

We face an issue after adding a new 4*1 GIG LAG card in slot 12 as 3rd uplink for E-320 BRAS, we try to enable 4 BFD sessions same as first LAG but only 2 BFD sessions is coming up, we try to create this sessions with another router with the same result

Is there any limitation on BFD per box or Cards ?

Please see page 52, it seems this module supports BFD.

There might be something else causing this issue.

Thank You,

Hi Siva,

Thanks for your reply. I can understand that this module can support the BFD we already have another this module was installed before in the same chassis and can make the four BFD sessions up.

The issue appeared when we tried to intall another module with the same type and enabling the four BFD session as two of them only became up and the other two lines still down.

we tried the same on another chassis but with the same behaviour so we are asking if there is a limitaion on the number of BFD session on chassis ? or on modules with the same type or something like this ?
