  • 1.  DHCP strange behevior

    Dear all,

     

    MX960 

    Junos: 18.4R3.3

     

    For some reason, I get the following numbers of lease time when run

    > show dhcp server binding | match 10.0.1.66
    10.0.1.66 2325536 51:d4:f7:ea:ed:88 -2785772 RELEASE demux0.3221230657

     

    Also, I can not log the user out

     

    Maybe someone knows what to do with this.

    Thank you for your response

    The problem with SELECTING is fixed. But the RELEASING still has big negative values

     

    show dhcp server binding | match -
    10.1.40.170 2271540 38:b5:ee:fd:eb:97 -3185044 RELEASE demux0.3221230645
    10.0.1.66 2325536 50:25:f7:e4:ed:11 -2808545 RELEASE demux0.3221230657

     

    Maybe some other timers should be set?

    I just can find a quite old issue which sounds similar to yours:

    If you have a Juniper contract, you can open a JTAC case. If not, you can try different JUNOS releases, older and newer ones if you see the same result.
