Error in LSP path : Routing loop detected

‎05-29-2018 12:24 AM

I see Routing loop detected error in my LSP extensive output; also I do not see RRO (received route object); any idea about the issue

you need to check below router.

10.163.11.29

Loop is detected here.. Seems like this router is being traversed twice

I've seen these loop detections when the cspf configuration is not fully complete across all devices in the mpls domain needed for the path.

If that is the case here, a short term fix is the remove cspf from this particular lsp by adding the no-cspf property.

Then crawl all the devices to discover the missing configuration.

i think you have one double ipaddress on an isis interface.

This was the reason in my network for thia loop....

Hi All,

It could be also due to one of the path IP configured on the unused interface in on of the router.

Hi Folks,

What is the IP  10.163.11.29? Is it the loopback IP or WAN IP?
