LACP Load balancing

Hello,

 

I tried few type of Load Balance implementation on ae0 interface to load-balance the traffic on 2 interfaces that it have configured under.

I tried policy based LB with per-packet option and one interface is getting more output traffic than other.

Also tried adaptive one, having the same issue:

what should i do to get event numbers.

Traffic that i generated is icmp ping.

Hello,

 

What is the product/platform, please?

 

Also, from the stats You shared I see You have sent "Local" traffic (meaning originated/terminated on the router itself) - this traffic is NOT load-balanced per design. 

Finally, single flow (1 ping session) will be never load-balanced undless You try per packet round-robin distribution (NOT recommended unless You have a steelbelted application completely intolerant to packet reordering).

 

Please send transit traffic with dozens/hundreds of different flows (meaning vary src.IP, dst.IP, ports), re-test and report back.
