MX/ACX Logging Interface Drops

10.11.17   |

Hi all,

I have ACX and MX junipers in action all working fine with the exception that I'm not seeing any interface drops in the logs.

I'm looking in show log messages and nothing is to be found.

Am I missing something? Are these drops hidden in another file, or do I need to have something in my config to log interface changes?

Thanks

Cameron

We usually get these from snmp traps not syslog.  Do you have a trap receiver setup for monitoring?  You can generally raise alarms based on the link down trap there.

That depends on whether the action is log or syslog. If the action is log, please check "show firewall log"
