Hi, we have a problem with our MX5-T router. In a moment the device crashed, leaving without access the console. It was necessary we reboot it. After reboot, the device worked per 14 hours. A new crashing was happening again. We are trying to upgrade a new version, but an error message is displayed on the screen frequently and the device are freezing.
The error does appear to be disk related to me as well. The disk is flash in this model but generally Juniper devices are not setup for individual component replacement. You would change out the RE in this case.
You could try to do an Junos install from USB first following this procedure.
