  • 1.  after Junos upgrade from 9.0R1.10 to 9.3R2.8, all interfaces are not accessible

    I have upgraded J6350 router OS from 9.0R1.10 to 9.3R2.8, after the upgrade I am not able to access any of router interfaces (like ge-0/0/0) are not accessible. if i rollback to 9.0R1.10 i can ping all the interfaces.

     

    Your help would highly appreciated

    Hello,

     

    From your description, it is safe to assume that you upgraded to an Enhanced Services (ES) version of JUNOS.

    In JUNOS-ES, the system defaults to a "secure context" (as a firewall might) which basically leaves no connectivity except that which you explicitly configure. You can also load a "router context" which behaves like JUNOS (non-ES).
