    I have on of my Jrouter which lost the link.

     

    The light on the interface is still green 

     

    Interface               Admin Link Proto    Local                 Remotee1-0/0/0                up    up 

    e1-0/0/0.0              up    down inet     10.0.27.2/30   

     

    How can I know what happen

    This can be due to, serial port is mis-configured (wrong IP address, subnet mask, or encapsulation).


    If the encapsulation is Cisco-HDLC, you might see one side that is "admin up and link up" and the other is "admin up link down". This condition is caused by keep alive values configured on one port, but not the other.

    It would also help to see the output of 'show interfaces e1-0/0/0 extensive'. That should give some clues as to why your interface is down.
