mpls behavior JUNOS versus JUNOSe for BGP learned prefixes
Let's assume router A has received and installed a BGP route, for example prefix 10.10.10.0/24 is reachable via bgp protocol next hop 184.108.40.206
Let's assume that router A has mpls LDP enabled, and has received and installed a label for destination 220.127.116.11 (but has no label for the prefix 10.10.10.0/24)
Router A now has to forward an IP packet which has destination IP within 10.10.10.0/24. The packet arrives without mpls header.
My question is this:
When router A is a JUNOS box, it would send out the packet as an mpls packet, using the label value for prefix 18.104.22.168
But how does a JUNOSe box (ERX, E-series) behave in that situation? Does it also put the packet onto the mpls LSP going to 22.214.171.124? Or does the ERX forward the packet just as an IP packet without mpls?

This is a case where BGP route has an indirect nexthop 126.96.36.199 which is inturn resolved via mpls tunnel. If you have all config enabled, then packet takes mpls path as the indirect nexthop is resolved over tunnel. Hope this will answer you question.
