  • 1.  protect RE even if loopback interface is not configured

    Hi there,

     

    I got a qfx5200-48y.

    Loopback interface is not configured. It is as per factory-default. Up/Up no ip assigned.

    In this case, is needed to apply any filter to protect the RE?

    re protect is recommended on all devices because you can connect to the device on any configured ip addess on other interfaces unless that is blocked by re protect or the zone configuration on an SRX.
