Installing Junoscope to an M-7 Router

‎03-12-2012 02:43 AM

Hey guys,

I finally got myself an account to download J-Web, which I think is now Junoscope.  I want to get it working, but don't know how. When I took the class 3 years ago, it was already installed on the Router.  Does anyone here have a tutorial on how I can do this?

Also, how do I know which version to download?  I currently have JUNOS 10.3R1.9 on my router.

Josh

Hi

J-Web is not the same as Junoscope

J-Web is a HTTP-based user interface for configuration/monitoring of the router

Junoscope is a centralized inventory management installed on a separate server.

If you want J-Web, the file should be called something like jweb-10.3R1.9-signed.tgz

Copy it to /var/tmp and use "req sys software add /var/tmp/jweb-10.3R1.9-signed.tgz".

Hope this helps.
