    hello everyone,

     

    during installtion of NSM2007.3r1

     

    i cant seem to install it because of this msg "loading GuiSvr XDB data from init files..............FAILED"

     

    i was wondering wats the cause of this.

     

    this is during installation

    could you attach the netmgtInstall log of the failed install, you should find it in /tmp

    No problem,

     

    don't forget to installt he system update package also.

    If it fails again, then just attach the log file.

    i finally installed the NSM
    my mistake was i didnt reboot the server after i confired the shared memory (by putting the kernel.shmmax= 402653184 in /etc/sysctl.conf)and installing the system updates.

     

    i just installed the NSM right away after doing that.

     

    what i did is resintalling the RHEL, and then doing the installation and configure the shared memory, reboot and after rebooting installed the NSM, and it was installed successfully.
