CSPF calculation of secondary path

‎02-03-2011 07:27 AM
We have an MPLS LSP secondary path using CSPF and NO fate-sharing groups. when a router uses CSPF to calculate a secondary path, does the JUNOS CSPF calculation try to ensure the primary and secondary paths do not overlap? If so what factors determine when and if the link in the primary path is chosen as a link in the secondary path? IGP cost? Last resort?
Thanks

Unless I misunderstood your question, Fate Sharing is the feature you want that tells Junos to try and minimize number of shared links between the primary and backup paths.
