    Cisco 2901 vs. J2320 Question,

I current have IDP 250’s on my edge attached to a Cisco 2801 which is on an end of life cycle. I was thinking on replacing that with a J2320 to take advantage of managing it with my NSM which I use for the IDP’s. I’m having trouble locating answers on the web site so I’ll ask them here.

Can the J2320 be managed by the NSM series 2?

Are the 10/100/1000 ports on the J2320 layer 3? I’m assuming they are.

Can those ports do dotq1 encapsulation? Similar to this config on the 2801.

    interface GigabitEthernet0/1.1

     Encapsulation dot1Q 241

     IP address 192.168.20.1 255.255.255.252

Is the J2320 a reliable piece of hardware?

    Thanks for any input.
