    Hi all,

On cisco  as per below output we can get the maximum routes for the chassis. But how in juniper? Do we have that command out like that?

show cef platform resource location 0/0/CPU0
Used Entries: 847166 Max Entries: 4194304

    Thanks an appreciate any feedback

    The command

    show pfe route

Will have this information on some platforms.

    Hi Spuluka,

I think that command not show the maximum route that box can support.

    Thanks and appreciate your feedback

The number for free routes only displays on some platforms not all showing the total table available per route type.

This is present on QFX, ex4600 and OCX platforms.

In JunOS the command is "show pfe routes summary". Normally you'll have 2 line controller; so you'll see max routes for FPC0 and FPC1

    show pfe route summary

This command only shows you number of installed routes per table but not how many can be installed,

There is no exect limit on MX platform bacause it is depends on network topology/frr/filters/knobs in config and some other options .

Better to monitor pfe resources, for example with this command

    show system resource-monitor fpc
