Error messages have appeared after MX480 was upgraded to Junos 17.3R3-S2.2

Hi everyone!

There are messages in the logs after upgrading RE0 and RE1 to the Junos 17.3R3-S2.2 from 14.1R7.4:

Mar 22 08:00:34 RTS-RE0 fpc0 PQ3_IIC(WR): bus transfer timeout on byte 1

Hi 

 

These logs indicate there was a communication problem between the FPC and the QSFP.  Could you try to reseat the QSFP in slot 0 and check if the logs clear? If you still see the logs, please work with JTAC to have the QSFP/FPC to rule out a hardware issue.
