    Hi, all

pls tell me what different between MX-MPC2-3D-Q and MX-MPC2-3D-EQ

    1. Protocols and Applications Supported ?

    2. DESCRIPTION

    MX-MPC2-3D-Q: 60 GB, rich queue, 256 K queues (max 128 K egress), 64 K IFLs
    MX-MPC2-3D-EQ: 60 GB, enhanced queue, 512 K egress (or 256 K ingress/egress), 64 K IFLs

what different between rich queue and enhanced queue ?

    256 K queue can be 128 ingess/exgress ?

    what's 64 K IFLs ?

    etc...

    thanks

    Hi,

The only difference is the number of queues, other than this it's the same card.

MX-MPC2-3D-Q that has 128K egress queues and 128K ingres queues.

MX-MPC2-3D-EQ has 512K queues that are shared between ingress and egress

I'm needing to pool by snmp information related to the hardware queue utilization, this is no related to COS configuration: for example I know that a type of MPC support 128kQ, Which is the way to know how many are available?

    Thanks

    Regards.

Do you say that you want to do a snmp poll on the device to see the amount of q's you have in use ? and how many are not in use ?
