You should talk to your SE. As a rule, Juniper doesn't post performance data about products, because there are too many combinations per customer that could affect the actual performance seen by customers. Also, most of the performance data is "tested" and not the upper limit of that particular feature. For example, the MX80 has been tested to more than 2000 eBGP peers.
By default, you get full Layer2 support, including L2VPN, VPLS, L2Circuits, Bridging (switching), OSPF, BGP, RIP, ISIS and a limited number of L3 Routes (32,000), COS.
For the licensing, after the base Junos Software license you have two additional choices:
- License to support full scale L3 route and L3 VPN on MX80 - S-MX80-ADV-R
- License to support per VLAN queuing on MX80 (only available on modular MX80) - S-MX80-Q
