NAT problem on MX

‎12-16-2012 03:20 PM

I have a 1 to 1 source NAT configured on a MX10 but it doesn't seem to be NATing my traffic.

here is the config - I took this straight out of the new Juniper MX book.

show configuration chassis
aggregated-devices {
    ethernet {
        device-count 5;
    }
}
fpc 0 {
    pic 0 {
        tunnel-services {
            bandwidth 1g;
        }
        inline-services {
            bandwidth 1g;
        }
    }
}
network-services ip;
--------
show configuration interfaces si-0/0/0
unit 0 {
    family inet;
}
--------
show configuration interfaces ge-1/1/1
unit 0 {
    family inet {
        service {
            input {
                service-set snat-service-set;
            }
            output {
                service-set snat-service-set;
            }
        }
        address 208.xxx.xxx.xxx/30;
    }
--------
run show configuration services
service-set snat-service-set {
    nat-rules source-nat;
    interface-service {
        service-interface si-0/0/0;
    }
}
nat {
    pool snat-pool {
        address 208.xxx.xxx.xxx/32;
    }
    rule source-nat {
        match-direction input;
        term outbound-snat {
            from {
                source-address {
                    10.13.26.254/32;
                }
            }
            then {
                translated {
                    source-pool snat-pool;
                    translation-type {
                        basic-nat44;

 It's not working though...

run show services inline nat statistics

 Service PIC Name                                     :si-0/0/0

     Slow path packets received                          :0
     Slow path packets dropped                           :0

[edit chassis]
lsalvatore@SC1Z1PRJROU001# run show services inline nat pool
Interface: si-0/0/0, Service set: snat-service-set
  NAT pool: snat-pool, Translation type: BASIC NAT44
    Address range: 208.166.61.106-208.166.61.106
    NATed packets: 0, deNATed packets: 0, Errors: 0

Any thoughts?

Did you reslove this issue? I am having the same problem on a mx80. Can you please share the solution?
