‎08-21-2014 08:33 AM

Hi Guys,

Is it possible to perform NATing ans stateful Firewals  in Juniper Olive ?

Or please clear me , if it is mandatory to have MSDPC module if one need to accomplish NATIng and Stateful Firewal in Juniper routers .

Thanks

Olive I don't know.

On the routers, in general a multiservices module is required.

MX 240+: MS-DPC, MS-MPC, MS-MIC

MX 5-MX 104: MS-MIC

M-series: MS-PIC

M7i: MS-PIC, CFEB, CFEB-E  [the enhanced CFEBs can do firewall & nat on the M7i only]

The one exception is on the MX when using Trio-based line cards (MX 5-104, MPC cards).  The Trio can do inline 1:1 NAT.  No stateful firewall and no NAT overloading.
