  • 1.  RE-S-2000 with 16.1 R5 ??

    Hi,

    Can I install 16.1R5 on RE-S-2000 with 1GB flash ?
    All technical documentation say yes but I have a dubb and I want to be sure.

    My configuration is MX240 with RE-S-2000 and SCB.

    Yes,

     

    You can use 32-bit image to install Junos 16.1R5

    Hi,

    I have install the JUNOS 16.1R5.7 Kernel 32-bit on MX240 but I have change the CF card with other one at 4GB.

    The router is in service 100%:

     

    Model: mx240
    Junos: 16.1R5.7

    Hi,

    the versione 16.1R5 is unstable on RE-S-2000, with 15.1R6.7 is much better performance on memory and rpd process.

    This is my experience on field.
