‎04-16-2018 11:16 PM

Hi,

I have two different sites connecting with mutliple mpls service providers. I want to route a particular application traffic in one of the mpls link between these two sites. Please suggest me the solution with CLI configuration. I have Juniper J6350 router in both sites.

you can use filter based forwarding to match on the parameters of the application like port number and use a fowarding routing instance to send that traffic out a specific link.

I need more clarifications please. Let me explain the requirement. Customer is transferring SAP archive logs from application servers to servers(Quality and production) between two sites. These two sites connecting with two different mpls service providers in active active mode. All the traffics are routing in one particular mpls link and we need to route these archive log transfers traffic in to another mpls link. There are four servers(source and destination) are using to transfer these logs files between two sites.

Now please explain how to create such configuration without any production impact. Incase if that mpls link is down which we routed the particular traffic should be back to another mpls automatically.

Please help me to complete this.

Thanks in Advance.

Vijay.

For failover you need to have RPM probes to verify the link availability.
