Just tryng to understand the following logs on the mx.... can you give some workarounds why this is happening, what is the main cause of this? And how to understant this not false things generated? What is FRU mean?
So the log was generated (SNMP trap generated: FRU power off) indicating one of the Field Replaceable Unit, i mean which can be removed and replaced was powered off. Here the part is jnxFruName PIC: MS-MIC-16G @ 0/2/* MIC on FPC 0 and the reason is jnxFruOfflineReason 8 indicating offlined due to power button.
According to the following log, the jnxFruOfflineReason has 2, 7 and 8.... But I disagree the "jnxFruOfflineReason 7" is correct. This is not correct information Junos generated. Because no one did over cli. I checked the interactive-com etc... what cause generats that false info?
none(2), -- none

noPower(4), -- no power
configPowerOff(5), -- configured to power off
configHoldInReset(6), -- configured to hold in reset
cliCommand(7), -- offlined by cli command
