    Hello Guys,

I'm planning to setup a new point2point link between 2 routers running ISIS. at the beginning I won't the 2 devices to form adjacency and exchanges prefixes, but I do not want to send any traffic on the link at first stage, until I'm able to make all checks and tests. I saw there is an interesting feature called "overload" which prevents the router from routing TRANSIT traffic, but this feature applies to all interfaces participating inside the routing process, which I do not want.

So is there any other option which would make the routing to run on that specific interface but no traffic exchanged IN and OUT ?

    Thanks

hi, you can not set overloda for interface , but you can set metric for this interface to it is maximum, result will be the same
