maximum number of hops in a static route on M120

‎08-21-2013 03:26 AM

Hi Experts,

what is the maximum of next-hops that can used in a single static route on a M120 router and achive load balancing between them ?

can it be tuned by the "maximum-ecmp" command ?

Hello,

To add to the previous post, You will also need a forwarding-table policy to achieve per-flow LB:

set policy-options policy-statement LB term 1 then load-balance per-packet
set routing-options forwarding-table export LB

The exact LB algorithm depends on "hash-key"|"enhanced-hash-key" config

Thanks

Alex
