native vlan and ipv6

‎11-14-2016 08:12 AM

I try change from "access" mode to trunk mode between 2 router.

router - dark optics - EX - router

current:

router1 <access> - dark optics - <access> EX 4500 switch <accces> - <access> router2

I want:

router1 <trunk> - dark optics  - <trunk> EX 4500 switch <trunk> - <trunk> router2

current ip4/ip6 under native/untagged vlan (for compatibility)

I try change:

EX 4500 <accces> - <access> router2

to

EX 4500 <trunk> - <trunk> router2 with vlan 1 as native

commit at router2: ipv4 between router1 and router2 is up .. ipv6 is down.

I do not understand why ip6 behaves differently than ipv4
