hi,

The junos device is generating the snmp trap6:

Why can't be seen the snmp traps on the  external collector (ip: 172.16.1.100) ?

Hello Arix,

 

It seems that SNMP is not working at all, am I right?

 

Is the lines provided the whole snmp configuration?  I think it needs additional configuration.

Hi Arix,

 

Just following up on what randero says, once SNMP is configured, and in case the SNMPtrap6 is not being sent, you can also generate or raise a trap for a specific log message as explained here:

You mention that your target 172.16.1.100 is not working.

I see you have an additional target, 100.100.100.100. Is it working?

 

Is it just the one target that's not working, or both?
