EX3400 jweb not working since updating to 19.1R1.6

‎04-29-2019 11:05 AM

I've update the junos on my ex3400 to 19.1R1.6 and i cant seem to get jweb up and running.  I've got these settings

set system services ssh root-login allow
set system services web-management http port 8081

and when i do a restart web-management, it works

Now, when i go to my switchs page X.X.X.X:8081, chrome downloads a file with no extenstion (called download).

When i open up said file, it says "/usr/bin/php: Undefined symbol "__aeabi_uidivmod"

The last few lines in the /var/log/httpd/log file are as such:

httpd: 0: GET IFNAME WORKED irb.0
httpd: 2: CreateMGD: sendmsg to gk for url /login.php
httpd: 2: requestCompleted : Closing gk fd 16 for URL /login.php

I have no idea what to do. I have tried removing and reinstalling jweb, but it doesn't seem to work.  Can someone help?

I think it's a bug. We have the same behavior on 18.4R1 with both the J-Web package for 18.4R1 and 19.1 on 3 EX2300 switches running JunOS 18.4R1.

When searching Google it seems to be a FreeBSD compilation issue with several packages: https://bugs.freebsd.org/bugzilla/attachment.cgi?id=185891&action=diff. There's unfortunately nothing you can do, but wait for a fix I guess.

Can you provide a show version and system services configuration?

On some models J-web is a separate download and install.  With the ex3400 this is so for the Junos 19 train.  You will need to download the separate installer from the download site.

When you search ex series and select ex3400 on downloads

There will be a notification link at the top of the search results that links you over to the J-web download area.

P.S.: I know the website is HTTP and aware that it's unsafe. It's something I'll fix once it's working (was testing whether HTTP would work, when HTTPS didn't.

P.P.S.: I've tried both the separate GUI package for 18.4 and 19.1, but both give the same problem.

I'm aware you need a separate GUI package and I've tried installing several versions, but it doesn't solve the issue. In this case it's a 2300-24T

Just got a message from JTAC. It's a confirmed bug and will be resolved in 19.1R2 (which will be released on 10-Oct-2019) or 18.4R2 (end of June 2019)
