    Hello, I do a flash erase all my material srx220h how I should do to restore proper bios u-boot

    Idont acess for cli and port network is up. and not detect usb drive, not boot for compact flash ... 😕

    Install Junos from bootloader, either from a USB or via network & TFTP:

    i'm blocking for boot, my bios u-boot is empty file

    the dont send command for console cable or junos cli and don't request network

     

    I'm problem for hardware resend package via nand flash ? or TTL cable ? or other solution ?

    Hello ,

     

    If you have any other working device , you can connect the USB device to it , take the snapshot from that device and then connect it to the faulty one and reboot . Boot priority of USB is higer than CF , so it should take over . Once its up copy the Snapshot from USB to CF .

     

    In working one connect the USB ( not more than 4 Gb and with FAT32 format :

     

    > request system snaphot media usb

     

    In non working one once it boots from USB .

     

    > request system snapshot media internal .

     

    But no ganrentee on the configuration since its will fresh new configuration or the configuration from the device that you took snapshot  .

    ok i'm testing thanx you for reply 🙂 my version junos is 12.1X44 it's normaly compatible for SRX220H AND SRX240H2 it's not problem for Two device i'm testing

    it's not work for me, my port console is blank for all activity ... or not activity

    my bios is dead ? i'm ot boot for u-boot ...

    no posibility to space or send command for my device

     

    My device status

    LED : Status : Orange

              Power : Green

     

    Console port : Not connected

     

    USB : not possibility for add usb not connected

     

    Ethernet : It's Connected and blink for connection don't have a ip DHCP.

    Hello ,

     

    If there is no console output  on the firewall and if the snapshot did not help  , I would suggest to open a JTAC ticket  and try recovering or  get the device RMAed .

    I saw that there was a bochage 6 pins (j23) on the motherboard that are an rs232 not be transferred ? or a way to reinstall the flash memory via an external connector ?

    If you can't get the console working (with a PC & RS232 cable that works OK for your 240) then you really need to call JTAC and get it replaced. I doubt very much that anything else is going to work.
