I thought JWEB on SRX5800 using firmware 17.3 should look like vSRX 15.D100 but sadly not?

Hi all,

First of all im upgrade the SRX5800 to version 17.3 coz i'm thinking the JWEB will have more improvment such as JWEB on vSRX15.D100. But its look like still same as old JWEB version. And one more thing the JWEB still slow to loading and i'm see nothing improve on JWEB side on SRX5800 using ver 17.3.

So my question is it juniper will not do any improvement on JWEB on high end SRX?

Thanks and appreciate any feedback

Junos 17.3R1 for SRX reflects the code matching 15.1X49-D75/D80 (can remember the exact version).

Junos 17.4R1 for SRX will match features for 15.1X49-D100 and include the new look'n'feel of Jweb.... so you have to stick with 15.1X49 if you cannot wait for 17.4R1.

If I remember correctly there are three forks of the SRX code
Branch SRX (3 digit model numbers)

vSRX plus SRX1500 / SRX4200

High end SRX (remaining 4 digit models)

I expect the jweb improvements will hit all three eventually but pretty sure they were developed in the vSRX fork first.
