Is it safe to delete OS from /var/tmp after upgrade and created a snaptshot?

Yes, that's totally safe. You can also do at 'request system storage cleanup' which will clean /var/tmp as well :-)

Thanks for your reply. 

 

So I can say Junos store the software in a flash after we issue "request system software add /var/tmp/*junos os*".

Hi CP1, 

 

That's correct (but you need to reboot it to apply the software Smiley Happy - unless you issue "request system software rollback" that will kill the upgrade), /var/tmp is designed to store temporary files , so anything you save there is safe to clean.
