  • 1.  Mail alert for policy changes

    Hello,

     

    I received a requirement from customer that whenever a firewall policy change or bad login attempts, a mail alert needs to be send to a generic mail address. 

     

    I couldnt find any information on this part yet. Could you please help to understand whether its supported in Juniper Srx devceis.

     

    we have Juniper SRX 240H and Junos 11.4R8.

    Hello

     

    You would not be able to send email alert directly from SRX.

    You could enable SYSLOG/SNMP and generate email from syslog server or SNMP Trap viewer.

    Your SYSLOG/SNMP Trap viewer should be capable of generating email though.

    We are setting up a Syslog server and as you suggested, we will setup mail alert from Syslog.
