I have this specific requirement where I did configure 1 ip address in my source pool to PAT-NAT.
I did configure port-overloading-factor = 4 configuration to have bigger port space for my source traffic.
Now as per the traffic pattern I see one of the 4 buckets for single ports gets 100% utilized.
This results into any extra traffic being dropped.
From the configuration point of view, I do not see any overflow config option with port-overloading-factor?
Is there any option to configure an overflow bucket if my port overloading factor bucket gets 100% utilized?
As per https://kb.juniper.net/InfoCenter/index?page=content&id=KB27810&actp=search there is no overflow mechanism.
Thanks for the reply.
But I went through the Kb earlier, this talks about the procedure followed to allocate a bucket defined using POF command.
That is understood, but what to do if the bucket gets overflowed depended upon the traffic pattern.
Well, this seems to be a limitation a sper my latest understanding.
