RE-enabling a disabled HA member

‎11-20-2014 01:26 PM

We had a switch failure a month ago, and for some reason the fireall did not failover properly.  We ended up having to power off the firewall to regain connectivity.  As such, 1 of the 2 SRX-240 devices has been powered off for a month.  I've made config changes to the running SRX in the mean time.  I assume when I power on the other SRX, it will simply recognize it has an old config and apply the changes, is this correct?  Anything to be worried about?

Thanks!

Mark

You are correct, the node will sync its code with the running device during bootup.

If incase the config dont sync automatically, you can make make some small chnages and use "commit synchronize force " to sync them config manually.
