  • 1.  Renaming RETH Interfaces

    I would like to rename RETH interfaces on an SRX cluster from RETH0 to RETH1 to ensure consistancy across devices.  Would the rename be as simple as running the command below to update all references?

     

    replace pattern reth0 with reth1

    The replace pattern should be sufficient together with a commit - expect a brief service interruption when doing it.

     

    Maybe do it with 'commit confirmed' so you are reverted to the starting point if problems occurs even that none are expected.

    Don't forget to change your reth count if you are configuring reth1:

     

    set chassis cluster reth-count 2
