    Hi

I have 2 SRX 100 on a customer site and after a number of days an alert is seen in the VRRP master messages log stating that

    Jun  8 23:45:23  AAL.SW1 /kernel: kmem type tlv_stat using 55512K, exceeding limit 55512K

I have attached the output from show system  process extensive and show system virtual-memory and it looks like the tlv-stat process is holding  60M odd of memory.

Has anyone seen a similar problem and if so what can be done about it. What does the tlv_stat process do?

    regards

    Hi

I upgraded the version to 10.0R3.10 and the memory gobble seems to have stopped. I did see on a diferent  forum that the tlv-stat memory creep may be due to snmp polling.Hope this helps.
