Hi all, i have made a rma and now i want to know what configuration i need on the new node to make him syncronize the configuration with the active node.

this is what i have done so far:

    set chassis cluster cluster-id 1 node 0

    reboot

    delete

all confiuration set groups node0 system and set groups node1 system

all consifuration set chassis cluster redundancy-group 0 node 0 priority

all configuration set interfaces fab0 fabric-options
    set interfaces fab1 fabric-options

i am missing something??? because after i have done all this i reboot the chassis and he came online with primary state and the other node lost, same thing with the active node.

    Hello

If you do not have physical access to the appliance, you could do below:

    1. You could enable SSH session logging for your putty/secureCRT client.

    2. Login to the working node.

    3. Run: "show configuration | display set no-more"

    4. Copy the configuration and load it onto RMA'ed device(load set terminal).

Thanks Raveen i gonna try this today.

But i think i found a problem, i was looking in some kb and i found this one

    http://kb.juniper.net/InfoCenter/index?page=content&id=KB23929&smlogin=true

they say to change a parameter of chassis because of the lost state

    Control port tagging:     Enabled

i was looking in the new node and this control port tagging is disabled... i try to enter the command to correct this but dont work...

my version on both node is

    JUNOS 10.4R5.5

The KB is applicable for Junos version that lower than 10.4.

since you are already on 10.4Rx, you needn't worry about it.

OK, my cluster is up now, problem solved with

    set chassis cluster control-link-vlan enable

    in the new chasis...
