During the weekend,
On my study lab, I activated one of the SRX from Flow based to Packet based . I noticed some wierd behaviour. After the reboot, I could not access the device via MGT interface..
Now today, Monday morning, I am able to do so, and everything looks okay. I did not make any changes. If it persisted, I was to now access via Console and check.
While it's back to normal now, m just curious whether anyone has ever experience such a behaviour? Does the reboot after "packet-mode" is enabled, speacial in a way?
It is weird, packet-mode and reboot should not affect MGT access.
There is no separate reboot options to convert Flow to Packet mode.
Management interface is not involved for normal routing.
May be if it was an SRX issue after reboot , then it could be due to ARP issues or may be it was due to high Control plane CPU ?
Control Plane cpu will be high immediately after reboot and it will reduce after few minutes.
