  • 1.  SRX1400 System Performance with IDS

    Hello,

     

    As per Juniper SRX1400 firewall Datasheet

    • Firewall performance (max): 10 Gbps
    • Maximum IPS performance: 3 Gbps

     

    In case we enable only IDS,

    • So in this case what will be the firewall maximum performance ?

    Theoretically it will be 3 Gbps assuming you have all the slots full ( full number of spc & npc ). I think with the newer version of Junos you will be able to get much more throughput ( 12.3)

    In case I enable only SCREEN option, does it affect the firewall performance ?
